Dan, trying to locate the download location for Mobile Smart 1.3. Getting a 404 from the WordPress.org plugin site when I visit your plugin url: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/mobile-smart. Is there somewhere else you can point me to?

    Thanks so much!

    Hi John,

The WordPress plugin admins removed the plugin whilst I was away on holiday because they believed it had an insecure version of the file timthumb.php in it (it didn’t, it had a version that was secure but didn’t have feature changes in it, but I’ve registered my disatisfaction on this). I’ve now updated the repository with version 1.3.1 – using the latest version of timthumb.php. Just as forewarning I may remove timthumb support as timthumb has had a few issues recently, and it is not a fundamental part of this plugin.

I am having problems with this plug in resizing pages. IO believe this is limited to the iphone 5 and iphone 5S/c, due to their longer screen size (but that is a guess).

Specifically, when a vertical site is looked at horizontally, then reset to vertical, the reset is botched. It does not resize to the appropriate size, and there is a mis-aligned strip down the right side of the screen (possible the scroll bar)?

Wantedto mae you aware of this.

Here are a couple images to show the problem….

this is the page rendered correctly….

here is the same page, after I rotate to horizontal anf then back to vertical….

    http://cleanrite.oozlemedia.net/goobered.png

Notice it is still at the horizantal zoom rate… and the goobered strip down the right…

    Thanks!

      Hi Dave,

Thanks for your message. The Mobile Smart plugin doesn’t handle anything to do with the display of a theme, rather just choosing whether to display a mobile-friendly theme or not. Therefore my suggestion would be to get in contact with the theme creator, as from my past experience, the sort of issue you’re experiencing is a theme issue.

      Hope this helps,

      Dan
